Kevin Richardson and four other teens, Antron McCray, Yusef Salaam, Raymond Santana, and Korey Wise were falsely accused and wrongfully convicted in the infamous 1989 Central Park Five-Jogger Case. The convictions against the five were vacated in 2002 transforming their lives to the historic “Exonerated Five”.
The case and the brotherhood of the “Exonerated Five” has become a prominent example of racial profiling, discrimination, and inequality within the legal system and the media.
Kevin is now a voice and a national hero in the fight for justice reform in our judicial system.
